After several years of Academic Research and Development, on May 12th, 2020, we took a big step towards formalizing Biosens and, at that moment, we committed to transforming healthcare through technology. Since then, we have always known that to achieve our goals we needed to create a space that was capable of promoting diversity and stimulating discussions. A space where incredible and talented individuals were empowered and could do their best to put the results of their efforts into the hands of millions of people, with the aim of improving the world.
Biosens is a deeptech (science and technology based company) life sciences company that operates in the research, development, production and commercialization of portable laboratory tests, also known as rapid or point-of-care tests (POCT). Our biosensors for POCT applications are an emerging technology with the potential to transform laboratory diagnostics and healthcare. They convert signals from biological interactions or chemical reactions into quantifiable and processable values.
