Meet Biosens: science that turns care into reality

Biosens is a Brazilian deeptech life-sciences company. It grew out of research and development work at Unisinos and was incorporated on 12 May 2020 at the Tecnosinos technology park in São Leopoldo, Rio Grande do Sul.
We develop integrated point-of-care testing technologies that bring together sensors, reagents, devices and software to make test results available where care happens and support healthcare decisions.
A system designed as a whole
A point-of-care test is not just a strip or a device. The bSens system brings together bSens Strips, which interact with the sample; the bSens One reader, which receives the strip, carries out the measurement and shows the test result; and bSens Cloud, in development, designed to organize a history of results over time.
The first test: bSens.INR
The first test of the system is bSens.INR. bSens.INR is in preparation for the Anvisa registration process. It is not yet on sale.
Already available for research
For laboratories and research groups, Biosens offers bSens.SPEX electrodes and bSens Materials, such as gold nanoparticles, for research use. Orders can be placed in the Biosens shop (opens in a new tab).
